About Our Team

Greg Jones owns Jones & Cooper Home Inspections and oversees his professional and hardworking team. He is a Louisville native who has been working as a home inspector in the area since 1994. Greg created his own home inspection company in 2004 and is committed to maintaining and continuing his education by participating in classes every year. He decided to become a home inspector to put his knowledge of construction to good use. In 1974, after an honorable discharge from the Marine Corp, Greg started working in the construction industry and became passionate about building practices. For 30 years, he renovated homes, maintained rental properties, and has seen just about everything there is to see from a home – inside and out.

Ricco Tumminello is a Louisiana transplant and has made Kentucky his home since 1998. His experience in the construction and remodeling industries is what led him to join the ranks of Licensed Home Inspectors.

As a contractor and handyman for over 15 years, Ricco has extensive knowledge of the many systems that make up a home. The thousands of hours spent installing flooring, building decks, remodeling homes and performing countless other in-home installations give him a marked advantage to see potential issues before they arise. After graduation of the ATI Home Inspector Training course in late 2023, Ricco passed the National Home Inspector Exam required to become a home inspector in Kentucky in February 2024. Ricco spent a year building his own company before joining us in 2025.
